„The poor king Pankreas VIII. tries to prevent the fall of his kingdom. The only expedient: to marry his daughter richly. A song contest is to bring the decision. Unfortunately the poor Florian wins. The two losing opponents von Haubitzewitz and Wucherpfennig form an alliance and try to prevent the marriage by all means. They create the monster Mongomo to intimidate the king. But at the last moment their intrigue will be detected and the story ends fairly well.“
