„The text by Erika Runge records the strike of spring 1973. The author limited the plot to a comparatively short but especially instructive part of the industrial action at the Mannesmann plant. The term „Scenical cantata“ is a result of the connection of scenical elements (dialogue scenes, changing arrangements of the actors on stage, use of properties) with the static concertlike conception intended for the historical kind of cantata (epic representation of the event through choir and soloists...“
