FALSTAFF-SUITE NR. 1
A note to Falstaff-Suite Nr. 1
"Falstaff- Suite Nr. 1" is a concert version of the first act of the ballet entitled "John Falstaff" (1984).
The suite contains the following mouvements:

For reasons of balance of tempi in the single mouvements a new slow mouvement was composed. It is No. 4 referring to the relationship between the father King Henry IV and his son Prince Henry.
The music rely on madrigals and instrumental music of the Elisabethanien era combined with my own musical "language".
